Your information. Your workspace.

Who operates Solar DesignPro

Solar DesignPro is provided by Grid Stability. Questions and privacy requests: contact@gridstability.co.

Your Solar DesignPro account

We process your email address, account identifier, organization membership, access permissions, and subscription status to sign you in and operate the service. Cloudflare hosts our account service and database and delivers verification emails. Codes expire after ten minutes; we store hashed codes and session credentials. Organization administrators can view account emails, membership, and access status.

Payments

Stripe processes subscription payments and billing management. We store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and billing status. Payment details you enter into Stripe are handled by Stripe; Solar DesignPro does not store your full payment-card number. Financial transaction records may be retained by Stripe and Grid Stability where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Browsing and saved logins

Websites you open receive the information you enter and handle their own cookies and data under their own policies. Solar DesignPro stores browser sessions, tabs, preferences, imported customer information, and workflow state on your device. If you choose to save a website login, it is stored in the iPad Keychain and used for that website. We do not upload saved website passwords to the Solar DesignPro account service. Sign-out locks your workspace but preserves local data for your next sign-in.

Proposal and area tools

Solar DesignPro reads relevant content from supported solar portals to display comparisons, commission estimates, and workflow tools. Area lookups send the selected property address or location to the Grid Stability area service. That service uses mapping, utility, weather, and outage sources to return local information. Maps and embedded videos contact their providers when opened. Customer documents and photos you attach to a portal are sent to that portal. Do not import information you are not authorized to use.

Security and diagnostics

We process limited operational information to prevent abuse and diagnose failures. Rate limits use hashed email or network identifiers. Our infrastructure providers may process request metadata, including IP addresses. We do not use Solar DesignPro account data for advertising tracking or sell personal information. Third-party websites may have different tracking practices.

Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while the account is active. Expired sign-in codes, sessions, and rate-limit records are periodically removed. You can initiate permanent deletion from Solar DesignPro’s My account screen. After email confirmation, we cancel the account’s Solar DesignPro subscription, remove its account record, membership, sessions, and associated administrative records, and clear its local workspace on the iPad performing deletion. Aurora, Sunrun, and other third-party accounts are not deleted. Data on another device may remain locally until cleared or the app is removed; it no longer grants service access. Infrastructure backups may retain earlier records for their normal retention period. Billing records subject to legal retention are not removed by account deletion.

Your choices

You can manage saved logins in the browser menu, control photo or camera access in iPad Settings, manage subscriptions through My account, and request access to or correction of your information by email. If you cannot sign in, contact us for help verifying an account-deletion request. Solar DesignPro is intended for adult business users.

Changes

We update this page when our practices change and identify the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or email.
